Meet Dr. Austin Runyon
Dr. Austin Runyon is a Tennessee native. He is originally from middle Tennessee and has also spent time living in Chattanooga and Memphis where he attended college and dental school respectively. He has spent some time working in middle Tennessee and has now returned to his favorite city in Tennessee to serve his community.
The Professional Side
Growing up in Gallatin, TN, Dr. Austin Runyon received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from UTC before going on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He chose to enter the field of dentistry to provide outstanding care for and to help educate his patients on the importance of good oral health.
The Personal Side
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Austin Runyon enjoys traveling, road trips, and spending time outdoors. He and his wife, Amy, love exploring national parks and doing activities like hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, and playing disc golf. He loves adrenaline-inducing activities and is a regular at the Chattanooga aquarium.
When not outside, he loves watching a good movie or binging a good series on Netflix. He also has a competitive side and loves to play games of any kind. Additionally, he and Amy are expecting their first child in January 2026.
